Dear friends, our hotel never stopped working – not even for a single day. Using the joint efforts of the hotel’s departments, we promptly developed new standards for safe accommodation of the guests, the restaurants’ visitors and the events’ organizers following the recommendations of the Consumer Safety Department. We have developed standards addressing all sanitary requirements and recommendations. All public places are equipped with easy-to-use disinfectant dispensers, all the requirements for social distance are met, and all hotel employees are using personal protection: gloves, masks or face shields. Those items are provided to each guest as a compliment. We also employ a special Express Pass program thanks to which your check-in at the hotel will take no more than three minutes.
Our hotel has 190 guest rooms; We have done a lot in order to ensure the safety of our guests: additional to the current sanitary standards for cleaning of rooms and public areas there is a range of measures for regular disinfection of everything – from the floors and walls of public areas to the remote controls of the AC and TV. After a guest has checked out, we conduct an overall cleaning of the room, a mechanized disinfection of the floors and carpeting, we use special equipment for purification of the air. We also inform our guests that the rooms must be aired once every two hours. In the hotel’s in-house laundry, except for the standard procedure of textile and linen cleaning, we carry out additional disinfection and steaming. And it goes without saying that each hotel employee is passing through the so-called “entry screening” – a sanitary control system for personnel which incorporates measurement of body temperature and requirement for personal disinfection. A Sanitary doctor is monitoring the health condition of each employee throughout the working day. Our Sanitary doctor is not only monitoring the health condition of the employees, but is also checking all operational processes in the hotel.
The hotel’s cooks are working using special protection: gloves, masks, protective glasses or face shields. At the entrance of each working area there is a sanitary mat with disinfectant. Every two hours we conduct wet cleaning which includes disinfection. Kitchen shops are equipped with lamps which eliminate bacteria. When received from storage, food packages (containers, wrappings) are treated with antiseptic. Ready meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner are served upon guests’ request, either in the room or at the open buffet which we have adapted into a “refreshment stand”.
The enormous selection of open buffet meals and appetizers which our guests are used to seeing is now served at the “refreshment stand”. Service is conducted in compliance with all regulations: personal protective equipment, installation of special screens (shields), placement of furniture in accordance with social distancing requirements. The outdoor dining patio is located at the court of honor at Bolshoy Prospekt next to the central entrance. During this season you will be able not only to drink a cup of coffee, but also to enjoy a hearty breakfast every day from 9 am till 11 am. In the hotel’s lobby bar we are happy to offer you (apart from meals and drinks) desserts and cakes from our own bakery. Here you can taste the masterpieces of our Pastry Chef as well as order a cake or a selection of desserts for your personal party. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the hotel’s guests are served at the Poet restaurant: all you need to do is just let us know the time for serving that is convenient for you, or whether you would like us to deliver the meals to your room. You can also order meals and drinks online with a possibility of contactless payment. On the second floor of the hotel in the cosy Italian cafe Biscotto our professional chefs and pizza masters will offer you European dishes, as well as chef’s special pizza. When you order room service, the cook will serve the meals on an individual serving tray with dome lid which will prevent any contact between the food and anybody else, except for the guest himself. The new procedure for catering at the Vedensky Hotel has also incorporated a number of safety modifications related to meal service for groups and events.
