The park got its name from the Catherine Palace located on its territory, created by Rastrelli. This is a real example of Russian baroque. In Catherine Park, there is its own Hermitage and the Admiralty. And in one of the wings there was once a famous lyceum, the graduate of which was Alexander Pushkin. Catherine Park – the most beautiful monument of the world landscape gardening art of the 18–20 centuries, is a part of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve. Walking through the park, you will experience a lot of pleasant emotions and feel the pleasure of its picturesque nature.
Walking around the Catherine Park in the fall, you will enjoy the view of the golden alleys, artificial reservoirs. The Catherine Park has many unique buildings and historical monuments: the Cameron Gallery, the Upper Bath, the Hermitage Kitchen, the Hermitage, the Marble Bridge, the Turkish Bath and others.
The park is open daily. Entrance from 9:00 to 19:00. The park closes at 21:00.
